How we work

From your drawing to delivered.

Make-to-order is a process you can follow. Here's how a part moves through Mountire, from the file you send to the crate on your dock, and who's accountable at every step.

5 stepsOne accountable teamNo vendor list to manage
  1. Step 01

    Send drawings & specs

Start with what you already have.

Share your drawings, models, materials and quantities: the same package you'd hand any shop. No portal to learn, no part numbers to re-key. If a drawing is still in progress, send what exists and we'll work from there.

    • 2D drawings, STEP / IGES models, or marked-up PDFs
    • Material call-outs, finishes and target quantities
    • First-article and reorder volumes both welcome
  2. Step 02

    We review & quote

We read the drawing the way a fabricator does.

Before we price anything, Mountire reviews your drawing and spec and flags issues early: a callout that fights the process, or a feature that's expensive for no functional reason. You get a quote you can build a schedule on, not a number that unravels on the floor.

    • Drawing and spec review, then a per-part price
    • Manufacturability questions raised before you commit
    • Questions resolved up front, before dispatch
  3. Step 03

    Build to order

Produced across a network we vet and manage.

We make your parts to order across a managed network of cutting, forming, machining and welding partners, selected for the job and held to your drawing. You deal with Mountire as the one accountable team. We run the floor.

    • Capability matched to the part, not whoever's free
    • Partners are managed by us, never your problem to chase
    • One point of contact for the whole build
  4. Step 04

    Inspect to your tolerances

Checked against your drawing on every shipment.

Every shipment is checked against your drawing before it leaves: dimensions, welds and finish. The same checks run on reorders, so what you approved is what we work to keep arriving.

    • Dimensional and weld inspection to your callouts
    • Documented checks, run again on reorders
    • Inspection and documentation requirements agreed per job
  5. Step 05

    Deliver & keep you updated

Status you don't have to chase for.

We dispatch to your site and keep you updated on status the whole way: in progress, inspected, shipped. If something moves, you hear it from us first, with what we're doing about it.

    • Keeps you updated at each stage of the job
    • Dispatched to your site
    • If a date slips, we tell you and own the fix

What single accountability looks like in practice.

Distributed manufacturing usually means a vendor list to chase and a finger pointed somewhere else when it slips. We run the network so you talk to one team, and that team owns the result.

One contact owns your job end to end: quoting, build, inspection and delivery.

You deal with Mountire as the one accountable team. Our partners never become your problem to manage.

We keep you updated on status, so you should never have to ask where a part is.

If a date slips, you hear it from us first, with the plan to recover it.

Every step traces back to four commitments.

The process exists to deliver these: drawing in, the right part out, again and again.

Drawing fidelity

We build to your drawing and spec, not our interpretation of it.

Consistent quality

Inspected on every shipment, with the same checks on reorders.

Manufacturing expertise

We flag the costly callout before it's cut.

One accountable team

One number to call. We own the outcome end to end.

Send the drawing. We'll take it from there.

Start with the files you have. We'll review the print, flag anything worth flagging, and come back with a quote you can plan around.
